The Cinematic Katzenjammer: DVD Court: Oct. 30

Tuesday

DVD Court: Oct. 30

This week, we put a handful of films on trial. As The Jury, we recommend what should happen to a particular DVD released today. Voting Burn It, Skip It, Rent It, or Buy It, we come together to deliver a verdict and hope to help you decide what to watch or avoid. We've also now added our Court of Appeals, where we allow a mention of another particular release that we find worth "saving" (aka buying). We also still have two spots open. To apply, email me here presenting your case.

Great concept. First time checking these out... maybe expand the blurbs, for those of us who dont know anything about the flick? First I'd heard of "Ruby Sparks" I know you linked to IMDb, but... thats clicking and Im lazy. LOL :D

Slow week? Safety Not Guaranteed and Ruby Sparks are two of the better low-budget films this year. Great stuff. Especially the former. A buy for sure, for me.

Whoever said burn safety needs to be dragged out onto the street and shot. Yeah I know it was Vern, and I'm coming for him

Yeah lol. I wrote them as comical instead of just copying and pasting from IMDB. Some of the synopses are really long and throw off the formatting lol.

It is a rather slow week. All R-Rated releases too, which seems a little odd.

Oh I know. I read it. He had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. He read into it wrong, he was looking the other way and looking for something where there was nothing to be found, and missed the important and deeper messages that the film held
