The Ultimate "Come Up With a Superhero" The Avengers Blu-ray Giveaway Contest Rafflefest

So I decided to do my first Blu-ray giveaway and figured the biggest movie of the year would be the best place to start. As a reward for helping me not only reach 100,000 views but turn this blog into something to be damn proud of, I knew I needed to throw back some of that love.

Here's the catch. As most giveaway are about increasing followers and likes on Facebook, I wanted to switch this up a bit. Sure, those two are going to play into the entire thing, but I wanted to see what kind of imaginations all of you have.

Below, in the comments, I want you to create your own superhero (give her/him a name) and talk about your any abilities and powers you would have, as well as your arch-nemesis. I'm looking for creativity, as well as a character I'd love to read comics about (too over the top may be too much). Try to keep it under 100 words.

Each "description" unlocks five entries into the drawing for the Blu-ray and each like on Facebook or Follow on Twitter gets you another one. Share this on either site, and you get another entry (include #cinekatz in the tweet). To round it up to an even ten, include a poorly drawn picture of your hero (made on Paint, of course) and you get another entry. Note, the only way to unlock any entries is to first post below. Simply following me already will not get you in the contest.

Simple, isn't it? Entries will close within a week or so, as I'm going off of how many people enter more than any time limit. So, comment below, like, and tweet, and you'll find yourself one step closer to a free copy of The Avengers.

Abilities: The power of persuasion. When Silvertongue speaks and looks directly into the eyes of a person, she is able to control their minds and actions. Silvertongue is also a skilled gymnast and fighter, a result of years of training.
Archnemesis: Behemoth. Named for his massive size, this crime lord is a powerful telepath by birth and is resistant to Silvertongue's abilities. He rose to prominence in the criminal underworld by entering the minds of his enemies and rendering them catatonic.

Abilities: She has the power to freeze her enemies, and also has an arsenal of trick arrows to incapacitate and capture her enemies.
Origin: Celina Artemis was a respected scientist who loved archery, and in her spare time she enjoyed tinkering with gadget arrows. While she was experimenting with an arrow designed to flash freeze her target, there was an explosion and the solution permeated into her hands. She is a pacifist at heart, but her sense of justice calls her to duty.
Archnemesis: The Burnt Matchstick is a serial arsonist who just enjoys the random chaos of setting things on fire. Buildings, trees, people, it doesn't matter. And if he can get something out of it? That's all the better.

Abilities: Expert at stealth and stalking. Basically undetectable when on the prowl.
Origin: After his 11th birthday party was held at a zoo he became entranced by the tiger exhibit. Locking eyes with the alpha tiger, he realized he felt an immediate connection and became obsessed with the territorial and badass way of life of tigers. Leaving home at age 16 following a missed game winning field goal for his high school football team that left him ridiculed by all, he escaped into the jungle to live and train with tigers. Now age 24 and fully adept at hunting, stalking and all stealth related procedures he realizes his abilities give him the perfect opportunity to unravel the mafia hierarchy that runs throughout his home town.
Nemesis: Glider, real name Zu Mein
Asian mob boss who runs the outfit that ravages his home town. Killed Willy's brother after missed field goal cost his outfit millions in gambling money. Black belt in Hapkido. Eats small pieces of lion meat everyday thinking it will transfer life energy and attributes of lions to himself.

Powers: Whenever faced with an foe, he will become the opposite, or anti-thesis of that foe.

Strengths: He is never outmatched, his power level is always equal to that of his foe.
If he is fighting a common robber, he will turn into a regular cop.
But if he is fighting the Joker, he will turn into the goddamn Batman.

His battles are always exciting.
Equal power and opposing ideologies make for page turning action.

Weaknesses: Slow to power up.
With each new foe, a new body.
With each new body, new powers.
With each new power, a learning curve.

Basically a psychopath.
Not only does his body change with each fight, but so does his mind.
Years of holding conflicting thoughts and changing views have left him with a shattered mind, and few friends.
Being everyone's opposite makes him just as likely to fight against Captain America as Loki.

Other examples:
If he is fighting against Morgan le Fay, he will turn into Nic Cage from Sorcerer's Apprentice
If he is fighting against Blackheart, he will turn into Nic Cage from Ghostrider
If he is fighting against the Japanese, he will turn into Nic Cage from Windtalkers
If he is fighting against terrorists with nuclear weapons, he will turn into Nic Cage from Next
If he is fighting for the most valuable treasure in America's history, he will turn into Nic Cage from National Treasure
etc.

Powers- Given A small Bronze star that fused with his hand. It allows him to absorb and or redirect energy. When Jacob absorbs enough energy, he can place his hand upon someone and cleanse there body of any impurities.

History- Jacob was a young teenage boy who became a father of a baby girl at a young age. The mother ran away, to avoid the responsibilities. One day when Jacob was driving home to his apartment with his daughter he was sideswiped. He survived, but his daughter died in the hospital beside her daddy. Devastated, Jacob turned to drugs. He turned everyone away, and shunned any and all help.
One day, a girl he would party with visited him. She informed him that she got clean. She said that her new daughter deserved that. She told Jacob that It was without a doubt his daughter as well. She also told Jacob that she knew he would never stop doing drugs and that she was leaving the state to keep their daughter away from such a horrible father.
In the morning, Jacob sobered up and remembered the events the night before. Distraught and broken, he went to his dealers house and stole his handgun. He found the nearest alley. He sat down and closed his eyes. Raised the gun and pulled the trigger. A loud boom and a slight tap on the side of his head. He opened his eyes to see a ragged old man staring at him. The old man reached down and grabbed a bullet from the ground and handed it to him.
The old man spoke to Jacob with a grating deep voice. "Not your time Son, You are meant for more. MUCH MORE." The old man placed a small bronze star in the palm of Jacob's right hand. It instantly stuck to his hand like it was welded. "It will absorb most of it on its own, But not all" He looked at Jacob with strange youthful eyes. "Takes a good heart to unlock its full potential." The old man stood up and waved. As soon as Jacob blinked, The old man was gone. A piece of old parchment lay in front of him. It said "Beware those of the arts, The bronze star is one of three. Learn it fast, the Mandarin has smelled its presence."
