DVD Court: Judgement Day

Hey everyone. This week, I'm starting something new. In my blogging, I've developed some great friendships with a lot of other writers from all around the world. Some of these people I talk to every day and consider them real friends. So, I decided to come up with a little idea. I'm initiating my own version of a "blog-family", where we share ideas, help each other out, be it through motivation or inspiration, and on occasion  team up for an article or review. One of these features is going to be a DVD roundup each Tuesday, where we each tell you whether a title is worth watching. The rating system is simple- Burn It, Skip It, Rent It, Buy It. This feature is something I want to turn into a place where people can come and find out what's the best thing to watch this week and what's the movie you just need to avoid at all costs. Some flicks are released, some are condemned to DVD Hell. DVD Court is now in session.

  2. Lookin good, man, one thing though. A verdict needs to be unanimous, technically, most of these are hung juries and the judge would grant a mistrial, to which it would be re-tried. Just a fun fact, but this looks real nice.

    3. Haha. Also though, even if we hadn't seen it, we still vote on what we ourselves will be doing with the flick. For instance, I did not like Mad 1 or 2 AT ALL and thus my vote to skip 3.

  9. I'm happy to report for Jury duty, although I would probably be the one causing a hung jury on 2016 (Rent It). Pre-Trial Publicity kept me out of theaters for Chernobyl Diaries and That's My Boy. Moonrise Kingdom is still to come before this court.

Madagascar 3, Death Penalty (except for the Circus song.)

  10. Damn. Your site keeps getting better and better! "Adam Sandler tries to rehash the same shit over and over, and people keep buying it." - LOVE IT! I completely agree with everything on the list except for maybe Chernobyl Diaries. I haven't seen it yet and despite the majority saying 'Skip-It' this is one I feel I must check out. I will probably regret it, but what the hell. P.S. Burn the hell out of 'That's My Boy'!!!
